Sometimes, when making decisions and allowing our plans to be shaken and tested, it is empowering to let it all go. Seemingly terrifying at first, it may be the path to wisdom.
“Have another thought” are the words so freeing to my soul. The mind in me spreads its wings and takes flight, looking down onto what only moments ago I was surrounded by, linked to.
I let go of what I had latched-on to and give myself permission to have another thought, another perspective, another choice, a different decision, an alternative plan, a wider view, maybe even a better way.
Re-pent is to re-consider, re-member, re-muse on, be re-pensive about, have another thought about, a different thought.
My will is free, my heart can soar, truth can be known and I can choose something new…the better part.

This is so very confirming right now. I really am amazed at how my Abba reveals Himself to me. Thank you!
And you are so amazing and lovely to your Abba. Love you.
“Poetic” words, though written in prose; inspirational. The photo is perfect for the message.
At last! Breakthrough with comments! Thank-you, Rosie, for your perseverance and for your kind and encouraging remarks, as always.
How Interesting to think that this came days before the Jewish Holy Day of Yom Kippur which is about re-penting, re-viewing one’s life.
Although I know this is much broader in its meaning in a positive way.
Thanks for sharing. It is a freeing word.
Interesting indeed…the words came on the heels of an intimate encounter I experienced which was indeed very freeing and made me new. Timing is everything when it comes to the new year in the autumnal natural and spirit time of Yom Kippur. Even other cultures celebrate a new beginning at this time of year. it has been so since the beginning of time. It is quite significant. I feel this is a truer “New Year” than that celebrated according to the newer Gregorian calendar. We feel it in our bodies and the earth feels it in hers. Thank-you for pointing out the Yom Kippur piece. Indeed, the power of having another thought makes all things new.
A famous person once said “ Our destination is never a place, but rather. a new way of looking at things.” May this new adventure in the lands of poetry, prose, new narratives be a renewed source of energy….almost like a long hike in the mountains and you rest, find energy and then proceed on .
What a lovely image of the adventure on this leg of life’s journey. What a wonderful quote.Of course I love the mountain hike scenario for so many reasons. Thank- you for celebrating with me the power and freedom that comes from all things becoming new with a new view. Blessings, my friend. Please come back for another visit another time. I love your words. They are life.
